Aye Aye's first goal is completed, and is described below in closed brackets.
[Aye Aye will be dropped off somewhere in Arizona probably during October, 2004. Its mission is to make its way back to New Jersey to the cache called "Number 17."]
The journey began on October 23, 2002 in a cache at the base of Picket Post Mountain (between Phoenix and Tucson). Aye Aye traveled 3,261 miles to reach his goal in Bergen County, New Jersey, where I picked him up from "Number 17" (GCEAE7) on Monday, November 13, 2006.
After a short rest he will probably begin his travels back to "Number 17" from a cache in Colorado.
Aye Aye is a weighted ball resembling a human eye. Turn it any way you wish, and the pupil will always be at the top.

Thanks to CTFLYFISHERMAN and companion I picked up my travel bug from where they dropped it. This much traveled bug is due a rest. He has logged 21,320 miles, first from Arizona to New Jersey, then from Colorado to New Jersey, and included much running around Europe. He looks to be in remarkably good shape. Thanks to all who helped him with his adventures.

Found myself wondering how Aye-Aye was doing in the cold with his liquid center. Opened the cache I'd put him in and ask him how he was feeling. He just glared at me. Picked him back up, and will hopefully find a warmer spot he can stay.
