(New Owner -) I was fortunate enough to have made 2 visits to Grand Cayman, in 2004 & 2006. 2004 was only 3 months after Hurricane Ivan hit. There was still a lot of clean-up, but things were beginning to get back to normal. It was my first time snorkeling, and I saw some beautiful sea creatures. Got to have a stingray encounter, and even though I saw a nurse shark, I was more afraid of the moray eel that looked like he was about to attack me! I have my aunt & uncle to thank for the experiences during both trips, and AMTG for letting me adopt this coin. My Aunt Daria, who passed away in 2013, loved to travel, so please keep this coin's proxy moving!
Large coin with heft. Front has very nice metal texture and slight 3-D work. Reverse has high clear enamel over delicate 3-D work. It also has the national symbol done in delicate 3-D and opaque and transparent enamel. It says "He hath founded it upon the seas". This coin also comes in gold metal. It is a limited edition coin and this one is number 128. I have made the reverse the default picture because it is so much nicer than the front. Very nice coin that could have been excellent with more work done to the front. ------------------------------------- So many of my trackables have been muggled that I only release new GCs as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks. FR
