About This Item

At Launch Cache

This geocoin is launched in honor of our (Go For Broke and wife) first grandson, Númenor.  Númenor's parents Robert (our first son) and his wife Elizabeth were raised in the Beaverton, OR area, and now reside in Ithaca, NY.  The coin first visited the cache to which it wants to return, "Fathers' Day Cache" (GC29A50), in the Portland, Oregon West Hills.  This is the cemetery where Númenor's great grandfather (and Go For Broke's father) Robert was laid to rest.  We will launch it on its journey from Ithaca, NY, when we visit there in September, 2010.

12:00 PM: Retrieved the Geocoin. It has completed its goal, having started here in September, 2010. I released it in a cache in NY, and it worked its way across the country, jumped to Hawaii, and returned to this cache.
