Current Goal

Pull Pitch is on a mission to see anything and everything to do with helicopters around the world. Please take him with you wherever you go, but try to get pictures of him with different helicopters. He would love to go flying in some helicopters as well.

For those who don't know, "Pull Pitch" is helicopter pilot lingo. When you pull up on the collective control lever in the helicopter (The one that makes you go up and down) it increases the "Pitch" or angle of the main rotor blades collectively (hence the name collective and not 'Up-Down stick' ha ha), therfore causing the helicopter to become airborne provided you have sufficiant rotor RPM. So when a pilot is talking about lifting off, he might say "I'm gonna pull pitch". Because as you "Pull" up on the collective, you increase "Pitch". So that's where my Travel Bug got it's name. Just thought I'd clarify that:-)

About This Item

This is the new Pull Pitch TB.

This TB is a replacement of the original Pull Pitch wich sadly had an engine failure and after a failed autorotation, crashed into the unknown about a year ago. Or in other words, he was placed into a cache wich was stolen or otherwise disappeared, taking my very first TB along with it. Therefore after waiting a year for the original to show up and all evidence pointing to the fact that he is gone for good, I decided to use the "Copy" tag and attach it to another helicopter and send it on it's way hoping it will have better luck in actually getting more than 23 miles from home:-)

I am a licensed commercial helicopter pilot. One with insufficient hours to get a job flying, but got the license. ha ha I sell Helicopter posters at www.GotHelicopters.com
