    I happened upon the cache containing Cricket and decided it would be neat to show him/her? to my Scout troop. We plan to start geocaching with them and Cricket will help get them enthusiastic.

    We had a great time with Cricket, but we finally had a chance to let him go. We placed him in a fairly easily accessible cache so we hope he doesn't have to sit too long before getting picked up. Godspeed little buddy!

    The weather has wreaked havoc on our travel plans, but we will still get this little fella moving along again as soon as possible.

    JAN 14: UPDATE: We made another attempt to move Cricket to a new home but couldn't locate the cache. We will try next again next weekend. At least I feel better knowing no one else has logged the cache we retrieved him from so he wouldn't have moved anywhere else yet anyway.

    • Out In The Snow We felt bad about not getting Cricket on the move sooner, so instead of waiting until we can get to Lethbridge we decided to drop him off in Calgary in GCJDF4. We took his picture as he was ready to be placed in the cache only to discover the cache container was too small for him to fit!
