Current Goal

Visit caches near tourist attractions on his way to Alaska. He then would like to return to SC before starting on another journey. Take pictures of him along the way.

About This Item

Beary likes to hang out with his bear friends, but he doesn't object to human animals. He was with the Country Bear Band, but he is now a solo act. We will see where his tour takes him. He is now brown, but has high hopes of going "platinum or gold".

    We picked up the Bear down in Key West, thinking he might like to holiday with us in the rest of the Keys before we head back to Canada. He seemed OK with it.

    OK-We realize that Beary is trying to get to Alaska and Key West is the opposite direction BUT we felt he needed a sunny vacation before returning to the Northern climates and with the number of visitors we figured he'll be able to get a ride back north quickly!

    We grabbed Beary from Chip and Dale's Retreat (partially to make room and prevent him from being eaten by the giant 3-headed dog TB in the same cache). Will show him a good time as best we can before sending him on his way. There are no documents in his bag with him (maybe lost along the way) so we will print and enlcose those before dropping him.

    The bear has been hibernating for a while. We were going to take it to the woods of Pennsylvania to be near other bears, but will take it to Niagara Falls instead.
