Current Goal

I would like to gather CANCEL stamps (used to cancel postage) from places that I travel. When I go into another country, I would like the passport stamp for that country.

It is interesting to me that every town has a post office. So this is a mission anyone can help complete. No town is too small, no city is too large. I want CANCEL stamps from them all. CANCEL stamps are FREE!

  1. Take me to your local Post Office.
  2. Ask them to ‘CANCEL Stamp’ your logbook. I told them I was logging travel, and they said ‘No Problem.”
  3. Place in another geocache.
It is perfectly OK to gather more than one CANCEL stamp from the same town. CANCEL stamps always have a date, so each stamp will be different. I asked at three different local post offices, and they all said that it is no problem to stamp the log with a CANCEL. Of course, there are always those who will not cooperate. No problem, just move the TB on to the next town.

Pictures are always appreciated. I would enjoy pictures of any of the following: your CANCEL stamp, your post office, or cache where you found or left the TB. Thank you.

I looked for this in Little Red, and it wasn't there! We think this is such a neat idea we may steal it and make our own "Cancel Passport". We hope it surfaces for you!
