Current Goal

My daughter loves beads. If she finds them she puts them in her “collection.” She hopes one day to have enough beads that she will appear on the Disney Channel which features special short stories about kids and their collections.

GOAL: As ADD-A-BEAD TB moves from cache to cache, please add a bead to the container. Any kind of bead is fine, but if it is unusual or has a special significance, or is made of a special stone, or came from somewhere far off, please let us know when you log the bug and describe it so we will know which bead is which when the TB gets back to us. Please do not take beads back out of the collection or keep them.

ADD-A-BEAD TB wants to return to Atlanta, GA when it’s container is full.

Bling-Bling is a JEWELRY cache, so its just perfect to pass the beads along here. Add-a-bead TB did travel with me last weekend to Las Vegas, but we ran out of time and weren't able to place it in a cache out there. We did spend a nice afternoon in the sunshine by the pool, though, before flying back to frigid South Dakota for another week of below zero temperatures!

Found this travel bug at the Visitors Center on I90, exit 61 in South Dakota. The wind chill is brutal, so I'm not spending any more time outdoors to re-cache today. The bug will travel west with me in a few days and I'll find a good spot to stash it.

We added hematite beads, a couple of freshwater pearl beads and what my dad called "Beggar Beads". The beggar beads look like rocks with holes in them, but, hey, what do I know about beads???

We decided to add letter beads to the cache. We left the letters to spell out caching but, did not have enough to add the geo. Hopefully someone else can finish it off for you. It was last seen traveling east of us.
