Current Goal

Raspberry eats aphids and other small bugs, so she wants to travel the country, BY GROUND, checking out plants and flowers on her way to Busch Gardens, Tampa, FL. Please don't move her more than about 200 miles. Please help her on her way take pictures of her with flowers, plants, and other bugs, not necessarily bugs she would like to eat. Thank you.

My wife thought we should send a bug as a travel bug, and our daughter named her, so here she is on her way to Florida. After reaching Busch Gardens, we'd like her to come back home.

We have taken Raspberry the Ladybug with us to Orlando; we hope to locate her in a cache there by Saturday as that's the day we fly back to Lincoln, NE which is a long way away from her preferred distination (but there are Ladybugs in the midwest...)

Picked up Raspberry yesterday at Lake Istokpoga Park. She will be visiting either Avon Park or Wauchula in 2 weeks. Just can't get up there any sooner. In the mean time, she is enjoying South Florida and hanging out at a busy marina for the Columbus Day Regatta weekend. She'll be getting closer to her goal of Busch Gardens soon, promise!

-Raspberry told me the aliens were creeping her out. She also said that ladybugs can't survive the harsh NY winters, and that she pined for more tropical climes. Lucky she came to me... I will be going her way next week!

  • Meeting Raspberry has made a few new friends at my house since Tuesday. These are Homar the (rubber) Lobster and a toad to whom I was not introduced. Hmmph!
