Der Sauerländische Gebirgsverein (SGV) ist mit ca. 40.000 Mitgliedern einer der größten Freizeit- und Wandervereine Deutschlands. Er ist in seiner Vereinsphilosophie grundsätzlich naturschutz- und umweltorientiert.

Dieser Travelbug ist eine Plakette der SGV-Abteilung Elspe anlässlich ihres 100-jährigen Jubiläums am 06.09.1997. Startpunkt des Travelbugs ist der Cache GC237DK „SGV-Hohlberghütte-Elspe“.

Ziel des Travelbugs ist eine schöne weite Reise zu den Rockey Mountains, dort bevorzugt zu einer Wandererhütte. Nach einer Rundreise durch die Rockey Mountains, die hoffentlich mit vielen Fotos dokumentiert wird, soll der Travelbug spätestens bis zum 20.09.2014 wieder zurück im Cache GC237DK sein, da die SGV-Hohlberghütte-Elspe an diesem Tag ihren 50. Jahrestag feiert und der Travelbug als Ehrengast erwartet wird.

The Sauerländische Gebirgsverein (SGV) is with about 40,000 members one of the largest leisure and walking clubs in Germany. One of the main club philosophies is the environment as nature conservation principle.

This travelbug is a badge of SGV division Elspe occasion of its 100th anniversary on 06.09.1997. Starting point of the travelbug is the cache GC237DK "SGV-Hohlberghütte-Elspe".

The aim of the Travelbug is a nice long trip to the Rocky Mountains, there preferably to a hiker hut. After a tour in the Rocky Mountains, which hopefully is documented with many photographs, it should return back to the cache GC237DK until the latest by 20.09.2014 because this day is the 50th Anniversary of the SGV-Hohlberghütte-Elspe and the travelbug is one of the guest of honor in this celebration.
