Hoosier Conch wants to be like his owners----snow birds. Go north in the summer and head south for the winter. He never wants to see snow or cold weather.
Hoosier Conch is a small conch shell found by his owners in the Florida Keys. Native Keys residents call their territory the Conch Republic. They even tried to secede from the US one time. The conch is a protected animal in the Keys. Only an abandoned shell may be taken. Take good care of Hoosier Conch. He loves warm water and laid back Keys life. He hates cold temperatures, so if you take him North be sure he gets back to warm climes before Winter.
Travel bug discovered on an old list, thank you for sharing.
Found this conch shell on the beaches of the French Broad River. Will have in new locale soon.
Found in -What's on Your Mine- (NJ). Not logged into this cache. I found another TB close by, which it turned out was not logged either. I left that one. Will move this one along soon, since it's small enough to fit easilly into most caches.
I picked this up from the No Name Cache. I will place it somewhere up north by mid-April.
