I opened the cache and Blue Scruffie jumped out at me screaming "take me south...i'm c...c...c...freazing." On our way to Northern Virginia (outside Washington D.C.).

I took the Captain Canada travel bug to Parliament Hill for the Grade 4 Class, so I brought Blue Scruffie along. I posted a number of photos in the Captain Canada area. I thought you might be interested in a few.

  • Blue Scruffie at Parliament Hill The Blue Scruffie and Captain Canada are resting on the Centennial Flame. In the background is the Centre Block and the Peace Tower. The flag is at half mast in recognition of the tragedy in Asia.
  • Blue Scruffie in an Inuksuk Blue Scruffie and Captain Canada rested for a moment in an inuksuk. In the background is the West Block.
  • Blue Scruffie and the East Block Blue Scruffie and Captain Canada rest on the Centennial Flame with the East Block in the background.
  • Blue Scruffie at the West Block Blue Scruffie and Captain Canada rest on the Centennial Flame with the East Block and the Inuksuk in the background. The crests on the flame are the provincial crests and the dates etched in the stone are the year each joined Canada.
