Duckie, it's been a good time together!!!
Today is the second day of our lovely romantic getaway, a weekend both Laura and I have been looking forward to for quite some time. Laura planned a lovely trip for us which included many nice sights and we were anticipating what all was to come. Obviously while out on our trip, we still had to continue our streak, today makes it the 356th consecutive day we’re out and logging caches. Over this lovely weekend, I drove about 523 kilometers, we walked just a bit over 20 kilometers and we visited 43 stashes including labs. It was truly a great weekend! But back to where we are now; yesterday we had a great time visiting the park in Vlasim and the castle Veveri, after which we had an amazing dinner and even better evening (in Havana). Today our biggest goal (and biggest letdown) was to visit the nearby dildo shaped clock, get some lovely brunch and see downtown Brno. I was very surprised at how incredibly packed the center of the city is with ALs; after circling around downtown for some time, we had a lovely brunch date and then slowly got in the car and headed towards the airport, where we wanted to go on a short walk. While we were still driving in the city, I realized that today we didn’t find a physical cache in Brno, and so I quickly looked around on the map to see what was nearby where we were just driving. I noticed this ‘solved’ cache, which I had looked at earlier in the week, and quickly changed the navigation to bring us here. Before we knew it we were right on the street; I parked opposite and we both went to look at the stash which Laura spotted from the car. We opened it up and indeed it was very cute; so much so that we decided we should leave one of our long-held TBs here. To keep with the animal theme, we decided we’d say goodbye to this historic bug which has been traveling with us for quite some time. Here at this cute cache, we hope you find a new person to take you with on trips and visit many more lakes! And with that, at our 3818th overall find, we finally part ways.
Safe travels, duckie!!
