Arnold Cardinal Mascot

"ARNIE", as he is affectionately known in Arnold, Nebraska, is the mascot for the Arnold Cardinals. "ARNIE" would like to travel anywhere in the United States, or the world, and someday return to his home in Arnold. He would like to collect photos of the places he's been. Photos can either be placed on the website or with him. Perhaps after a year or two of wandering around, geocachers will begin helping him return to Arnold.

Arnie was picked up in a cache at Gretna, NE to visit Lincoln, Nebraska. While he was here, he visited a library and elementary school which seem to be named after him! Who knew he was so famous? Finally, he found a perfect new home -- the Birder's Cache created by NevaLP in Pioneers Park in Lincoln. I sure enjoyed having this bird around. Good luck, Arnie!

Picked up Arnie from a dark and damp box. (Well, I guess it WAS late night and raining, so maybe it's not always like that in there.) But anyway, I'll show Arnie a few sights and maybe we'll go out for pizza, and then I'll send him on his way soon!

GRAND CHILDREN PLAYED WITH HIM FOR 2 DAYS. THEY HELPED PUT HIM IN THE BOX. WE WILL CONTINUE TRACKING "ARNIE" ALSO. THEY WERE RELUCTANT TO PUT HIM IN THE BOX AND LEAVE HIM.

ARNIE WAS COLD, AFRAID OF THE SPOOKS IN THE CANYON AND SAID IT WAS QUITE DARK IN THE AMMO BOX. BEGGED US TO TAKE HIM. BROUGHT HIM TO NORTH PLATTE WHERE HE IS STAYING IN A HEATED MOTORHOME. LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW FOR THE NORTH PLATTE BULLDOG. ARNIE IS EXCITED ABOUT TAKING A TRIP WITH US AND TO FIND HIM A NEW LOCATION SOON.

Arnie has finally started his tour of the USA. He even got to be on TV. Our local station, KNOP TV out of North Platte, NE covered his placement in the Devil's Den Cache. Snakebite
