About This Item

This travel bug was created to commemorate the retirement of Nancy Blase, a very special librarian at the University of Washington Libraries. The travel bug figure was created in the likeness of Nancy Pearl, who shares a first name with our special librarian and is a well-known Seattle librarian herself.

This bug is our gift to a dedicated librarian who has served the University and its community almost her entire career. Thank you, Nancy!

After my visit to the library of Leiden university I was a little bit dissepointed.
The puffin-team already took a picture of this library.
So today I visited the library of the TU Delft. Not an old historical building but
a spectecular building onder a green roof.

As a bonus I also found a cache on top of this roof.

Found this TB in cache Datasette, nearby Leiden.
I decided to cycle to Leiden and take some pictures.
Now I see that this TB already has visit the Library
of Leiden University.
Luckily I also take images of the old lacation of
the Library at Rapenburg 70 in Leiden.

I will try to find a good place for this TB so that
it can visit an other library soon.
