I wanted to get this as far west as possible and hopefully to the Bay area, but I think I'll be headed out to Aspen tomorrow, so I dropped it here and hopefully it will get to travel the remainder of the trip to San Mateo very soon! I took this picture on the campus of Pierce College near where I was staying. I know the redwoods in the Bay area area much bigger, but this was still a very serene grove in the middle of the urban jungle!
