Alas, my Hawaiian cousins had never heard of geocaching. After carrying him around to several other caches, I finally found one large enough for Jumbo to rest comfortably in for a while.

I'm retrieving Jumbo once again, because my grandma's 100th birthday party is happening over Labor Day weekend, and my cousins from Hawaii will be in town for the big event. If they know anything about geocaching, or have friends who are geocachers, then perhaps Jumbo will be getting closer to Hawaii in the near future. If my cousins aren't geocachers, then I'll bring Jumbo back to a cache near my own neighborhood.

This evening I dropped off Jumbo. I took him with me for a week in the San Juans (not Hawaii, I know, but at least it would have been an island), but the caches I found there were too cramped to accommodate Jumbo. It's a little closer to Hawaii than Mount Pilchuck.
