Current Goal

Barty the Bat is trying to get back to his home cache Ewe Shot? in NE Hampshire. On the way he'd like to visit lots of UK caches (he has a fear of foreign travel) and have his photo taken with other young cachers and report back on their adventures.

After answering some questions regarding an alledged incident of low-flying without a permit, Barty has been liberated a la american GI stylee; namely no resistance at the clink and we went in heavy handed (two of us) and took photos 😁

He'll need a few days to rest up and regain his strength before he continues his mission but he wanted me to reassure Monkhouse Jnr. that he's OK after his jailhouse ordeal and he's looking forward to getting home soon.

Came across Barty in the Plantation set cache today - opened it up and caugh thte little bat in the act!! think he has been Hangin' around with the wrong crowd as he has not only gone and got himself a strange tatoo but he was smoking on a ciggie!!

I tried to subdew the little beast but he started chompin on my hair - it was only when didnt like the taste of it much I could finally grab him! foir that little stint I whacked him in the clink to calm down.....

and there he shall stay until he has learned his lesson...hopefully he will realise his crime with the other ruffians in the cache. 🙂

Oh deary me, these travel bugs will get themselves in all kinds of trouble.
