This is the first cache that we are the "First to Find"!! Thank-you for bringing us to this location.
We decided to come spend a day of kayaking and fishing on Jessica Lake and OH YEAH find the cache too! Little did we know that we would be in for an adventure. Firstly, when we arrived there was a bit of wind. But we figured that we would still venture out onto the water. On our way to the island the winds became stronger with small whitecaps. No problem. This was nothing new to us. The island was a nice place to land for a break and a shore lunch. The best place to "park you water craft" is on some flat rocks opposite the way from where the beach is.
By the time we landed the wind had picked up considerably as can be seen in one of the photos. We had no difficulty finding the cache but had to take shelter from the wind in order to sign the log.
The rest of the day was spent fishing. Despite the strong winds this was a very good day.
