New mission - July 8, 2007: This bug would like to return to its owner for a well deserved rest by getting to "My Island Travel Bug Resort" (GCE639 - N 36° 44.754 W 095° 56.269) in Bartlesville, Oklahoma (just North of Tulsa, Oklahoma).

About This Item

End of the Trail Bug

The bug is a very small version of the "End of the Trail" statue at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA. I actually purchased the bug in Lajitas, Texas, USA, near Big Bend National Park in 2000. I released the bug in my Copan Lake View cache near Copan, Oklahoma, USA.

I gave "End of the trail" a lift to the very south of Germany to "Klibbes2003", which is placed in a beautiful bavarian scenery, only ca 20 km north of the famous fairy tale castle of Neuschwanstein. Since "End of the trail" has tavelled a lot in Germany, my wish for it would be that it should travel out of germany to some other country.
