This trackable started in Glendale Arizona with hopes that it would make it to Ground Zero in New York City and get buried there as a tribute to all those brave men and women who selflessly put their own lives at risk to save the life of others. It started on December 30, 2010. It was last seen in snug as a bug in Central Park in New York City on August 23, 2012 and it hasn't been seen since. Unfortunately it is now marked as missing. So close and yet so far. As close as it was to Ground Zero when it was last seen (almost walking distance) I can only hope that it was actually taken there as I had hoped and for some reason wasn't logged properly. Either way I know it made it very close. Thank you to everyone who helped me reach my goal for this travel bug. I was born and raised in New York (Brooklyn mainly) and like so many others I too was effected by the incident of September 11, 2001. This will never be forgotten, and this travel bug will never be forgotten. Thank you again to all who had a part in seeing my travel bug from Arizona to New York City...
