  • Lighthouse in Delaware Bay Go SW Go!!! got to tour Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware and learn some of its history. He posed for some pictures before going to the cache for his next adventure. This is by the Eastend Lighthouse.
  • "The Point" Go SW Go!!! learned about "the point" at Cape Henlopen State Park and how the sand has shifted over time. Look at a map of Delaware and you'll see a 'point' sticking up where the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay meet.
  • Checking out the Atlantic Ocean Before making the final trip to the cache (about 600-700 away), Go SW Go!!! enjoyed the ocean view.
  • Cape Henlopen Lighthouse Although the Cape Henlopen Lighthouse doesn't exist anymore, it's always nice to learn about the historic site.
  • Cactus? In Delaware by the Ocean Yes, cactus does grow on the sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Delaware. For a little while, the "88 car" was thinking about NASCAR in the desert when they go to Phoenix rather than when they come to Dover ... about 45 miles up the road!
  • "The Big Guns" at Fort Miles Cape Henlopen State Park was previously the site of Fort Miles (during World War II). This cache is located in the area of the Fort Miles barracks and the 'guns' are very close to the cache.
