This is our first trackable, whose travels are now linked to our attendance @ geocaching events. Discover this when you meet us!
We recently found our 10th geocache, and we can see that this is a hobby our family will enjoy for quite some time. As we are beginning geocaching in its 10th year, I thought it appropriate to celebrate the number 10. We use base 10 for our numbering system and you can't have ten without that pre-Mayan invention of "zero," so I think it's deserving of a Geocoin tribute. How ironic is it that this trackable cost me 10 dollars? Weird...
UPDATE September 8, 2015: One of the rare instances a cool geocoin travels 47,000 miles (75,600 km) without "winking out" and disappearing! This geocoin is in the hands of the owner mostly because we're not sure what to do with it next! For now, we'll be trotting it out to some events...
