Checkers

Checkers really likes warm dry weather. He's been away from his ideal climate for a long time and is dying to get back there. He is also very sociable and enjoys spending time with his fellow serpent kind.

Checkers has had a wonderful winter - spending time in San, Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Hawaii, Kansas City, Denver and Cleveland (traveling with me personally); however, to prepare for the summer and get a place where he can eat numerous bugs (no pun intended), he's decided to settle down in Frankenmuth, Michigan - land of weather predictable to a maximum of 8 seconds, and where the state bird is the mosquito. He's going to be missed, but alas, should we find ourselves in close proximity again, perhaps the twain shall meet afterall.

Cool bug. I travel a lot and am going back to California on Monday; however, I've noticed that this bug has spent a LOT of time in CA. I am going to do one of the following: 1) Put it back near Pleasanton, CA (BORRRING) 2) Take it to Laguna Beach, CA next weekend (also BOOORING), 3) Save it for Kansas City, MO (not thrilling, but a new state nonetheless), 4) Take it to Cleveland, OH, or somewhere in Michigan (maybe an island cache, a lighthouse or something near the water), or 5) depending on travel plans take it to the Island State. Stay tuned.
