As this cosmolabe geocoin points you towards the gods, Scouting points young boys in the right direction for the future. This geocoin is dedicated the the Boy Scouting movement and the world brotherhood of scouting. As a young scout I found myself in a troop that had troubling times. I tried another and yet they did not meet my needs for outdoor adventure. Eventually I switched for the last time to Boy Scout Troop 241 of Knauers Pennsylvania. This troop is the greatest I have ever seen. I have met many new friends and have had and will still have the adventures of a life time.
I wish to share these adventures with you. Please do a good turn and take this geocoin to one of the places listed above. I would love for you to post a picture of your own troop with a troop flag or a sign saying your Troop number and place and the geocoin see the attached photo for example. Also feel free to put any patches or pins you wish on the geocoin. Use this as the same principle of a geocache (equal or greater value).
Please feel free to tell a scout story or adventure and maybe some of the places your troop has been!
Please Note:
- Be Courteous to the geocoin and its attachments
- Do not cram this coin into a small inappropriate cache
- Try to place an a decent hide to avoid muggling
- Keep track of this geocoin when its in your hands if you cant handle it... Dont take it!
- Do not untie the line for the cache. Use the swivels like a caribiner if you must. Use plastic bag otherwise.
- If there are any problems please contact me that includes, lost coin/part/ entirety, damaged line, no patches.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of moving this trackable so far. nv7lv mailed it back to me in its original location of Pennsylvania. It has been beaten pretty badly since I've last seen it a couple years back. I'm not sure what it's future is yet. I would like to refurbish it and send it back on its way however by the looks of it, that could take a great deal of time. Once again, thanks much to all involved in this incredible journey and here's to many more in the future!

This is the neatest geocoin that I have retrieved. I have an Event tomorrow that I will take it to and will try to get some one to take it to a scout camp. I added a note to the bag that says it wants to go to scout camps. Thanks for releasing it.

Still at Ally's hotel. Didn't think I could help this one so left it there. Love the pictures! I lived in that area of Oregon when I was 11/12 years old. Actually spent a week at Camp Meriwether.
