Hitched a ride out of Mesa Verde, Colorado with some Texas feller and his wife mate but they made me ride in the back. He said that his wife had been ridin' shotgun with him for 'bout 40 years and he wasn't 'bout to change now. Well, that didn't set too well with me so I just closed my eyes and grabbed a few winks. Derned if when I woke up I didn't find myself in Texas! Now that sure isn't closer to the West Coast and now I'm not so sure that we both hadn't been a sleepin'. Know what I mean? Anyhow, apologies from the Texas feller for the oversight. Maybe I can hitch a ride on one of them new fangled jet airplanes. After all, I am riding shotgun!

Disgruntled has entrusted us to place this bug along our trip to the parks of Southern Utah... I'm thinking maybe near Mesa Verde, Colorado might be nice... We'll see how he handles riding in the back seat for awhile.
