Current Goal

This bug is trying to get to the Isle of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean. If it has adventures elsewhere on the way, so much the better!

About This Item

I'm currently writing a book on the adventurer Sigismund Bacstrom, who in 1794 was sailing around the world eventually to arrive on Mauritius where he met the mysterious Count de Chazal who showed him how to turn lead into gold.....

It would be rather befitting if this Bug ended up in Mauritius, but wherever it goes, I'll be fascinated to sit here (in Bristol UK) and watch it's progress. Take good care of it and pass it on!

(The Bug has my old gym membership card attached, not for any other reason than it has my name and photo on it.)

Picked up Event Horizon from Wild Woods in Bedfordshire. I used to come here a lot when I was younger, so it was nice to have the excuse to go back.

I'm off back to Scotland today, which is kind of the wrong way for Mauritius... oh well. I'm sure Sigismund himself took an occasional wrong turn.

Found it in Lauri's a treasure during our bike ride. So far it has travelled home from holiday with us to Bedford.... how to get it towards it's destination I'm not sure!
