About This Item

Viola is a small, very cute brown bear who belongs to the youngest Tuskie. The youngest Tuskie plays the violin and the keyboard and Viola likes the sound of the instruments. She would love to visit anywhere with a musical link. Concerts, gigs, music shops, radio stations. The choice is yours. Her ultimate goal is to one year visit The Last Night of the Proms after which she will return home via an Oxfordshire cache.
Youngest Tuskie hopes that Viola will stay out of trouble and enjoy her musical adventures.

    Nessie 1 kindly emailed to tell me that Viola had visited a concert where she heard a real viola being played. She also listened to lots of other music and had a lovely visit.

    Found Viola enjoying the bird songs and mooing cows at 'Left Eye'. Thought I'd change the pace for Viola from the bird songs and get her to a London Club or to a gig before getting her back to the peaceful tranquility of a cache or get her to one of the London caches.

    We found poor Viola sitting on the tow path singing sea shanties. Picked her up and let her listen to some boogie woogie in the car on the way to her next cache.

    The musical connection is a bit tenuous but as I was walking back to the car after picking up Viola I heard the 'First Cuckoo of Spring' however not by Frederick Delius this time. It was the real thing.
