To travel meeting as many Scouts around the world as possible.
Along with a Brownsea Island woggle and a Summer Camp Black woggle
.
Summer camp is a joint annual Scout camp with Scout troops from East Grinstead, Windsor, Southampton, Edinburgh, Workington, York and Illkley, camping as one troop.
Originally run for 60 years by ‘Chief’ (Donald Penty) now run by ‘Delta’ (Colin Illman). The scouts practice traditional patrol site camping, cooking over wood fires and working towards scout badges such as camper, camp cook, observer, artist, first aid, survival, orienteering, and pioneering. Some years there is also the opportunity to achieve canoeing, sailing, archery and master at arms badges.
At the end of the week there are awards for the best patrol at cooking, general good housekeeping and site construction. The scouts are awarded a coloured woggle based on how they have preformed.
Summer Camp woggles:-
Yellow - For a happy camper or being ‘at home at camp’. A scout who has spent a week at summer camp and has been ‘at home’.
Red - A good camper. A third or fourth year camper showing a good standard of camping.
Blue - A good patrol leader or explorer. A patrol leader who has led an outstanding patrol site or an explorer who has contributed to the leader’s site.
Black - A good leader. A scout leader or second/third year explorer who is demonstrating a good leadership skills and made significant contribution to the leaders site.

We meet again!! I think I better take you to a more popular cache so that you don’t spend a cold lonely winter in the woods of NL.
Will drop this one off again soon.
