Current Goal

This TB is being released to honor my late partner and best friend Rico. Rico was with me all the time and was never paid. He was a very faithful partner who was always there for me nomatter what, He even saved my life one night, but that is another story. This TB is also to honor all the K9 Officers and their K9 partners everywhere. This TB wants to visit all caches near Peace Officer Memorials and or Police or Sheriff Departments, academies, etc... Happy Trails Buddy.

 

Needless to say this TB went missing, so I had him tattooed on my left arm and now he travels with me.  Now he wishes to be discovered at any Events we attend.  Happy Trails.

RICO K95

This was Rico's first badge, which was lost at work until a citizen found it and turned it into the Sheriff's Department a year later. It was returned to me and I kept it all these years (Rico retired in 1992), even though the Department had given us a new one. Anyway I thought it was about time I let go of this one.

I took Rico to the Memorial Rose garden on the Sheriff's Academy since most of the general public won't get to come here. Sorry I held onto him for so long, but I'll get hi out tomorrow. In the meantime, here are pix at the memorials of three K-9 dogs who were killed in the line of duty, and the dedication plaque.

DUDE! I had NO idea! Someone came up and handed me this TB and said I should have it to move on. This happens to me a lot, badge or cop TB's end up in my lap and I'm always happy to oblige. This one is SO special and I'm really moved it's in my hands! Yes, I'll move it on, but I might have to hang on to it just a little while. RIP Rico, he was a special dog and an awesome cop. My salutes to both he and his owner. I can't believe you're making his badge a TB.
