Current Goal

This trackable is being released February 4, 2012 on the date my late husband, Robin,  would have turned 59. I just want him to travel and get to 'see' the sights that he missed out on by leaving us so early in his life. Thank you for your help. And photos would be wonderful.

Hug the ones you love, and take too many pictures!

UPDATE: August 2021, thank you to petra4321 for updating the travel bug and adding a little angel, since the last one was missing. That is the new photo on this page of what it currently looks like. Again, thank you all so much for taking Robin's Angel Wings on such a wonderful adventure!

Did all 100 caches today, dedicated my run to my late husband, Robin, who would have been 59 years old today. He would have loved the theme, the techie stuff associated with geocaching, the dirt roads, exploration, views and solitude. I cannot thank the CO enough for putting these out here. Had a blast. Took 3 hours 59 minutes, half a box of chocolate/fruit cookies, 3 chocolate hearts, one can of diet cola, and a couple handfulls of nut mix. Thanks also to Chester the dog who was exceptionally tolerant of the stop and go day!!

For the travel bugs and coins that I am moving, I will 'dip' them all into the start and finish caches on this series, as well as a couple in the middle along the series. I also complete 8 additional caches after this run. I will 'dip' bugs into the caches I think are extra interesting. I did drop several bugs after the series too. While I would love to put personal logs and photos on all the bugs I am moving, it would be impossible to accomplish all that so I will likely just post a couple photos for each bug on just one log. Appreciate your patience. Thanks.

The above is what I posted to all the bugs I moved today. Robin's bug will be dipped into all of the caches we visited today until drop off this afternoon.

  • Quite the tolerant dad!

When we first heard the stories of Robin and Ann, we were very moved. We have enjoyed getting to know Ann, and I think we would have been friends with Robin, too. Wishing great and safe journeys to this travel bug.
