First some pics at home, then we hit the road, I 10, to head east to New Mexico from Tucson. The goal is to do the 100 caches on the MOH (Medal of Honor) series just east of Deming, New Mexico. I want to do these on February 4th, 2012, on the day Robin would have turned 59. Robin loved anything to do with war or history. On our road trips, he would always have us stop at Vietnam War memorials. A total history buff who grew up in the Vietnam War era and was declined a spot in the military for health reasons. He wanted to fly when he was younger and hung around and worked at Montgomery Field in San Diego. I think he would have enjoyed the MOH series, with each cache dedicated to a different recipient. I think he would have enjoyed tromping around the desert on his birthday and especially playing with the techie gps and laptop and digital camera. So Robin, this trip is for you. Even got a chunk of cake that Sierra gave me to bring along to eat on your day!! ; )
