Current Goal

Alice loves to play golf! He wants to travel around the UK from one golf course to another and have his photo taken with the name sign to prove he's been! Eventually, Alice would like to travel to the USA and play golf with THE MASTER; Alice Cooper himself! He doesn't mind taking in a Cooper concert along the way ;)

About This Item

Alice At Home

Bought the travel bug in a *Charity Shop* for 20p. I bought this myself new for £15! I had been looking for a bug for ages and was hoping to do a Sickthings Dolly the Sheep, LOL! But then Alice turned up and I couldn't resist. He is quite large, but sits nicely when folded. He would be better off in caches with more room. He comes complete with snake! He is starting off his travels at my local course at Woodham Golf Club, Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham, UK. Let's see where and what he gets up to!

By the way; I HATE GOLF!!!

Heute logge ich mal die Bilder der letzten Monate von Events und Cache Touren nach.
Danke fürs discovern lassen.
Fals dein TB / COIN fälschlicherweise discovert wurde tut mir dies leid.

I have tried everything to contact Tumster but have had no replies. I have even offered to pay for postage and packaging to get Alice back. I am very disappointed that the person has kept my TB for so long and hasn't had the decency to get in touch. It's really not fair for people to ruin geocaching for other people like this. I am not going to bother sending TB's out in future. Tumster, if you are reading this PLEASE send Alice back home or at least let me know what has happened.

Message to Tumster: It's time Alice was on the move. It's really unfair to keep him throughout the entire Summer months when most Geocaching takes place! Please release him to the nearest cache as soon as possible. Thanks, Queeny.

Took Alice Cooper from Don't Pass By.
Took him passed Grimsby Golf Course but he didn't get chance to play a round.
Am doing a few caches further a field soon so I shall move him on a bit further.

"I guess it might be what you British pass for a sense of humour, but when I said I fancied playing on some 'Links Golf Courses', this isn't really what I had in mind", Alice grumbled during his tour of Lincolnshire.

  • Alice went full-tilt around this course.

Today Alice visited Bakewell Golf Club, Derbyshire. Alice wasn't impressed. "Man, these people take the game way too seriously." he said. Something to do with getting odd and disapproving looks from the ladies golfing today. So he continues his quest for the perfect golf course.

  • King of (the) rock!

Alice visited Grange Fell Golf course, near Grange-over-sands, Cumbria. "Tsk!!! Rules, rules rules" said Alice, and he went off journeying to find another, more liberal, course.

  • too many rules, man!
Retrieve It from a Cache 4/12/2004 led retrieved it from Crackin' Cache at Chinley Churn East Midlands, United Kingdom   Visit Log

Picked Alice up from Chinley as he was missing his golf. Took him past a driving range and golf course, but hunger prevented us from stopping to take his photo 😛. We'll have to find a suitable green for him to survey.
