This TB wants to go to Yankee Stadium in New York, USA. On his journey he wants to be photographed in front of basebalstadiums.
(NL)
UPDATE (ENG) may2015
A lot has happend since january of 2012. Our son is no longer playing baseball and even the complete organisatie (ADO, The Haque, Netherlands) no longer exists. We didn't go on our journey in 2013. The TB and the cache that it was in completly disappeared. Becasue we our now planning our journey for 2016 we want to bring the TB (actually its brother) back into the game. We hope to collect it in a cache in New York in 2016.
UPDATE (NL) mei 2015
ORIGINAL (ENG) - january 2012
The namegiver of our geocache nickname is playing baseball. The first photo of this TB is taken in front of his homestadium (ADO, The Haque, Netherlands). In 2011 the Netherlands became worldchampions baseball for the first time which made a big impression on us. As we are planning a trip to New York for 2013 we decided to combine these things and set this baseballsmurf on his way. We hope to collect it in a cache in New York in 2013.
ORIGINEEL (NL) - januari 2012

This is our first Trackable find! We were extremely excited to find him and he's cute too. Love his goal! We plan on taking him more North and dropping him in a cache in Bridge Water, NJ near another baseball stadium! Maybe he will be able to see a game before he continues his journey to NY. Best wishes to Baseballsmurf!! :)

I enjoyed my time with Baseball Smurf. He visited the spot where George Washington crossed the Delaware River and turned the tide on the Revolutionary War. Hope you have fun in the USA!

I was very excited to pick up this Travel Bug today! I had to work hard to solve the puzzles in the Newtown Revolutionary War cache to get him but it was worth it. I am a teacher and I plan to share Baseball Smurf with my students tomorrow during our Geocaching Afterschool Club. Photos to follow.
