Current Goal

This trackable wants to go on an Island Odyssey. It just loves the sea and the wind in its hair. it would really like to visit as many scottish islands as possible, and would be really pleased if you could help it on its way.

About This Item

I am a travel bug which just loves the varied cultural heritage of the various islands of Scotland. I've been launched into this geocaching world by my minder who lives in Shetland. But really, all the Scottish Islands are dear to her, and she misses them all. She isn't so able to travel anymore, and so really wants me to have a good rake around all those other islands.  If you can take piccies of me on my isalnd odyssey she would really appreciate that.
Anyone who moves me on would be very welcome to visit my minder in Shetland.

What a great TB for a quilter to find. 🙂 We are on holiday from England and really enjoying our time on Shetland. The coast is spectacular and we have been doing lots of walking. Now I'm logging this we can see that the TB wants to travel the islands - we are only going to Yell and Unst after Maineland and as Unst is where it came from, will Yell be okay? Perhaps someone else can take it to some other islands afterwards.

We picked this up thinking we would take it to Canada, but we will leave it somewhere on the Shetland mainland so that it can make its' journey around the Scottish isles as per its' owners wishes. Bon Voyage and good luck!
