Current Goal

My niece Gracie loves to run and play in the great outdoors. If she ever met a wee little garden gnome, she'd be sure to have a grand adventure with it. This TB would love to have some outdoor adventures as it travels from cache to cache.

It was a nice day for a bit of an adventure. I met up with mjp303, DuckeyLee, Bear Territory, and bthomas for a hike out to San Pedro Rock and the D5/T5 cache GC415Q7 WarNinjas: Mission Impossible! The group gathered up some other caches along the way, including a handful of puzzles that we solved in preparation for this trip.

Definitely a 5/5 rating worthy cache. One has to find the right window of tides and daylight to make the attempt. The hike and the climb warrant the terrain rating. Nicely done! Thank you for a great cache!

I kayak around this island at times. The geology of it has also fascinated me. The tilted layers of shale jut up out of the fluid Pacific waters. The caves and channels worn by the waves. The views out over Linda Mar and Devil’s Slide. It is a beautiful location. Even more interesting for me today given we were walking over places and channels that I normally paddling through!
