Jennyrebel

I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in March 2008. I had two small tumours in the right breast found during a routine mammogram and needed a mastectomy, but with immediate reconstruction. (Update: I have now retired and finished six years of drug therapy in 2014, when I was given the "all clear").

Throughout, I have seen my illness as a challenge to my faith. I hope I have risen to that challenge and made Him and my family proud. I travel as much as my illness and travel insurance allows.

I carry this geocoin with me, but have released its twin "I can" to roam and hope it will visit New Zealand. "I can" will visit the places I can't. Perhaps one day the two will meet again.
