Returning back down to ‘land’ from the top of the mountain, we went to visit this stash after planning our lunch nearby. The nano cache is a little off its posted coords, but that didn’t pose too much of an issue for Laura and me. We found it well and quickly! Glad this TB could come with us!

After a tiresome night in our new bed in our AirBnB, we set out to conquer the tall mountain of Langkawi; Mount Mat Cincang. The cable car ride up is the steepest in the world and holds the world record, and at the top we had beautiful views of the whole area. What a nice place to visit and do a bit of geocaching!

No find on this nice beach; the black beach was very highly recommended but unfortunately this 18 year archived cache is no longer here. We were happy to have visited however!

It’s always a nice view, from the airplane, over the wing.
We visited this earthcache today after a short hour long flight from KL to Langkawi, and on our first afternoon here, we had to visit the beach. I’m happy to have some travels to look forward to, as well as another nice place to show this TB on our planet!

An FTF while just casually heading to the airport for a flight. That's pretty awesome! Glad this TB could come with us to be once again first to visit a geocache!

Visited 2/14/2026 Tommy_Laura took it to Snow-capped mountain Malaysia - 14.6 miles  Visit Log

After a very exciting time at the waterfall, we knew we weren’t far from the city and so Laura looked around the map to see where else we could travel to see something from the city as we still had our rental car and a few hours to spare.

I had the roller roasters at the Highlands on my bucket list fit the two years here, one of the few opportunities to ride a roller coaster in the country. And while that was not at all on the plan today, we did end up here, but rather to take the cable car and show our visiting friends something different of the country. And so after leaving our car at the bottom, we took the lift up, and did not manage to get the two parking lot caches here. But we did manage to fulfill the ALR of this virtual cache, and visit a snowy mountain in Malaysia. Glad this TB made it to the top here with us; I’m attaching a photo of us on the cable car together!

One very long and fun trip to the waterfall here. This is the fourth oldest geocache in Malaysia, and we were happy to hike up to the top of the waterfall, a seven level hikeable waterfall was quite fun to get up, but wow its hot weather to do this in. This was an amazing day, so many memories and such a great trip to do with all of our friends who came to visit us. Glad we rented the big van to do this trip, this was well worth it.

Of course this TB came with us along for the hike all the way up to the cache itself, along the way I snapped a nice photo of the TB, which I’m attaching to this log.

I was slowly headed home and made one last stop at this stash. Such an interesting building nearby. The cache itself was muggled; logbook and the top of the cache gone, but the geocacher who came before me relpaced a temporary zip lock baggie with magnet on location, so we were able to log. Let’s go home and get some rest now!
