His Mission
The main mission of Jack the Globetrotter is to create a rich and beautifully illustrated travel diary. His main interests are particularly interesting and photogenic landscape and urban attractions. His trip should end at 25th July 2014 in the Cache GC1P4JA. This date is the name day of St. Christopher, patron of all travellers. In this spirit he will patronize all who accompany him on a part of his journey.

How you can help Jack
Primary Jack wanted to make his trip around the world with his helicopter, but it was on strike! So he needs to get support from you. If you like to give Jack a ride on a part of his route you are welcome. Please treat Jack always friendly and keep in mind that he always wants to be on the road. Please document your jointly journey with beautiful photos, which show at least Jack, and if you want, also yourself in front of any point of interest. Be imaginative and stage Jack and yourself in unique ways. Complete your images with a short story about you shared experiences.

The route
To progress his journey Jack has specified ​​a number of milestones (see list at the end of this entry). However he also wants to see the local cultures and he will be very happy if you show him the way to other exciting places.

Seine Mission
Hauptziel von Jack the Globetrotter ist es, ein reich und schön bebildertes Reise-Tagebuch zu erstellen. Seine Hauptinteressen sind besonders interessante und fotogene landschaftliche und urbane Sehenswürdigkeiten. Seine Reise möchte er am 25. Juli 2014 wieder im Cache GC1P4JA beenden. Dies ist der Namenstag des Heiligen Christophorus, Schutzpatron der Reisenden. In diesem Sinne wird er alle, die ihn ein Stück seines Weges begleiten, beschützen.

Wie Du Jack helfen kannst
Eigentlich wollte Jack seine Weltreise mit seinem Helikopter machen, der aber streikte! Deshalb benötigt er Deine Hilfe. Wenn Du Jack ein Stück auf seiner Route mitnehmen möchtest bist Du herzlich eingeladen. Bitte behandle Jack immer gut und denke daran, dass er immer „on the road“ sein will, also halte ihn nicht zu lange auf. Dokumentiere Euren gemeinsamen Reiseabschnitt mit möglichst schönen Fotos, die Jack und - wenn Du möchtest, auch Dich vor den jeweiligen Sehenswürdigkeiten zeigen. Sei fantasievoll und setzte Jack und Dich besonders in Szene. Ergänze Deine Bilder mit einer kurzen Geschichte über das, was Ihr gemeinsam erlebt habt.

Die Reiseroute
Damit Jack auf seiner Reise voran kommt hat er sich einige Meilensteine vorgenommen (siehe Liste am Ende dieses Eintrags). Er möchte aber unbedingt auch die örtlichen Kulturen kennen lernen und freut sich sehr, wenn Du ihm auf diesem Weg auch andere aufregende Orte zeigst.
