Dawn Draco

I travel only when the sun is rising to its zenith. Please send me or, preferably, take me to the next Summer Olympics in Beijing, China from Aug. 8 - 24, 2008. I hope to meet my brother, Dusk Draco, there!

Dawn Draco and Dusk Draco, fraternal dragon twins, have been sports nuts all their lives.  They have always shared their greatest dream -- they both want to travel to the Olympics!  Dawn Draco has been training like the athlete she is -- squat thrusts (look at those thighs!), flying sprints (look at those wings!), dragon dodge ball (look at those... teeth!), and many, many more dragon exercises.  Dusk Draco has been watching sports like the spectator that he is -- softball, baseball, football, soccer, cycling, swimming, diving, ultimate Frisbee, geocaching, you name it, he's probably watched it... as long as you can do it here in Florida.  His fondest wish is to be able to see sports he hasn't seen, like at the Winter Olympics. 

One day, Dusk Draco returned from a long, long, very long nap, only to find Dawn Draco gone.  "Dawn done gone!" declared Dusk, dripping dragon drool delicately.  He franticly looked for her at the Sports Complexes where she usually trained, but she was nowhere to be found.  As he trudged home, he saw a piece of paper flutter to the ground.  "I couldn't wake you up when I left.  I have begun my journey to the Olympics with Team Burgi.  See you there!"  Signed, Dawn Draco.

Athens, Greece, 2004 - Made it! Unfortunately, I was there in June, and the Games of the XXVIII Olympiad were from the 13th to 29th August 2004. Maybe next time! GXers have four years to get me to Beijing!
