The hike started off where we ended off in the Dufferin Hi-land section......the surrounding sure look different on a nice clear morning. :-) The first stint of the hike had relatively few caches, so we made good time on that area. Hiked with Northernpenguin, Nozzletime, Just Givr and Jeff-trex, before Pit Stop. Afterwards, journeyed onward with Brook22, Hubcap33, MaddieP, stealthedge, MicD , Fababoo and friends. I very much enjoyed all the Team Goju caches on this hike, as they gave us something to look forward to every 200m. :) It was nice to meet some non-BT Hikers, gonzozen55 and hockeymom team on the trails doing some of Team Goju's caches. :D We took some time off to do Ragnorak, definitely one of the more memorable caving experiences I've had while caching. In the latter half of the hike featured Devil's Glen with its extremely difficult trail down into the valley. Boy, was that section muddy... I didn't know how Ralph found the energy to hop across the stream at the bottom of Devil's Glen. He must have been triple jump champion in high school. :D The hike up to the top of Devil's Glen was surprisingly not muddy and relatively easy. :) By the time we hit the final road section, it was only a matter of time before we finished. Completed the hike around 10:30pm.

Thanks Ralph for organizing another great hike. Thanks to everyone for the great company. Thanks to Brook22 and friends for the extra snacks.. they definitely kept us fueled through the Devil's Glen section. :D Thanks to Just Givr for the ride to the start. Looking forward to the fall hike already!

This has been one of the most enjoyable sections of all the BT Hikes. It surely helps that we completed the majority of the hike in daylight, and that the terrain, for the most part, was very friendly. :) Ended up doing most of the hike with Fababoo, northernpenguin, ElectroqTed, Treknschmidt, Geocite, Westacular, Micd and Tuff_Ryda. Really enjoyed all the Kelso caches, as well as the Rattlesnake hole. Great company, great scenery, great caches, great weather. What more can you ask for? :)

Thanks Avernar and northernpenguin for the ride back to the start. Thanks Ralph for another awesome hike. See everyone @ BM next spring!

Cheers,
-TochiHunt

Kortright Centre.... Pine Valley does not extend all the way up. :( A bit pricey in terms of admission costs (we need to hide prastost in the trunk), but very cool conservation area. 3 Earth caches + one environmentally friendly house. :) Tochi even won a neat prize from City of Vaughan. :)
