I noticed this trackable in a cache in the small city of Mexico, Missouri, USA. Mexico is where the Miss Missouri pageant is held each year to determine who will represent Missouri in the Miss America pageant. Mexico, hometown of Missouri governor and U.S. Senator Kit Bond, was so named according to a 1962 story in the St. Louis Post Dispatch because "The first settlers found a wooden sign along the trail. It pointed southwest, and on it had been painted Mexico. To avoid unnecessary labor, the sign was left in place. It was easier to call their town 'Mexico' than to take down the old sign."
