Current Goal

I was born at the first Western Canada Mega Event "Best of the BAD" in Three Hills, Alberta on July 16, 2011.

I was supposed to make it to the second Western Canada Mega Event (WestCan2) in Duncan, B.C. on July 7, 2012, but got stuck over winter in a glacier cache. Luckily I got rescued just before and made it to Duncan on July 15, 2012. Better late than never.

My next goal is to travel to the third Western Canada Mega Event "Living Skies 2012" (WestCan03) that will be in Rosthern, Saskatchewan in July 2014.

My very unorganized daughter has misplaced her university ID. In the process of looking for that I found this tb in her bag! From the look of the log is been there since at least 2013. I am speechless! I've always told her not to hang onto travel bugs too long but I bet this sets a record. She completely forgot she had it! Hopefully she won't pick up any more travel bugs. I will drop it in a cache as soon as I can.

Not too lucky to be stuck in a single cache for almost 10 months when you have a schedule! But luck is a fickle thing.

  • Banff National Park "I love Canada" at "Bow Falls?" cache. Actually, Bow Falls is down near the town of Banff; this falls comes off the Bow Glacier. I assume that's the reason for the "?". In any case, this is a spectacular place.
