Current Goal

Crater likes to travel to any wild areas--the wilder the better! Caches in remote areas away from the city lights, on top of mountains, desert canyons, forests, or wild rivers is where Crater likes to be!

About This Item

Crater was raised in Crater Lake National Park, but has found the surroundings too confining, and he's ready to fly the 'coop'! He is antsy to go anywhere wild throughout North America, so try to meet his needs by getting him into some remote places! He doesn't mind staying for an extended time in one spot--he knows some of those places are hard for geocachers to get to! Crater always has his thermometer with him--when you place Crater in a cache, note the temperature & weather conditions at the time & log it in on his bugsite--we'll see it he has to endure some 'extreme' conditions! (Be sure to use the bubble wrap to protect the thermometer!)

I dropped this off tonight it's now sitting on top of a mountain at about 350M above sea level in Wales "Moel Arthur" which is supposed to be connected to king Arthur. I wish I had a camera as the views were wicked tonight.
The temp' was 7 degC when I dropped it off. I'm sorry for the delay in dropping this one off me had a few technical difficulties. But Crater Lake is back out and in a nice isolated spot for a while.
