WHEN a serviceman or woman puts on the uniform of this beautiful country, they give up the right to have an opinion ... so that you can have one.

The soldier doesn't sleep, So that we may.

The soldier misses his family, so that you won't.

They give up the right to live in peace for the duration of their tour of duty, and sometimes they never have peace again. So that you can live in peace.

They give up their lives freely so that you can freely live.

When they come home, if they do come home, some part of every one of them will be left behind in whatever hellhole they have done service in.

And their lives, and those of their families, will never be the same again.

Before you state your opinion too loudly, from the peace and safety of your own little bit of this country, recognise the price that has been paid -- and appreciate it.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning,

We will remember them.

This is an issue at our hearts.

As I activiate this Tag today, My Soldier is coming home.
After a 9 month stint on deployment, serving our country and making a difference to another.
We are very lucky that he returns safely, to date 27 Australian Soldiers have lost their lives in Afghanistan.
We think of them and the families they left behind every day.

Our Australian Troops need and deserve our support, whether you agree with the war or not.
