Current Goal

Gutsy is on a trek to see at least four countries before returning to Omaha, Nebraska.  He has humble roots.  He was given as a Christmas gift to V_Kareeo by Capn Sea Bert.  Please, help him on his quest.  Four different countries and then back to Omaha, Nebraska.  When back home, V_Kareeo will seek out the cache and return him back to his stand.  Thanks.

    Clumsy (XXX2XX) is starting his travels around the world and though Gutsy is retired he is going to ride along with Clumsy on the first part of his journey to get him started. I am going to the island of American Samoa in the South Pacific this week and since Gutsy has already been to Iceland he now wants to visit an island that is a little warmer.

    I am good friends with V_Kareeo. He lives in Omaha and I live in St. Louis. I actually picked Gutsy up and brought him back to St. Louis with me. So Gutsy has been rescued into friendly hands but not actually returned to his family until today. V_Kareeo is in the St. Louis area today visiting over Easter break and was finally reunited with Gutsy in person. Gutsy has been quite the world traveler and we may even take him on some travels this summer and take some more pictures. Thanks again pitcherfam for taking him to Iceland. V_Kareeo and the rest of us were so excited to see the little piece of Iceland that he brought back with him. Have a Happy Easter and keep on caching!!

    We are soooooo happy to see our little smurf buddy finally return to his home!! Please tell us if he still has his little gift from Iceland. We were planning a retrieval trip this summer to come and get him and to deliver him to your area. (We were coming that way anyway). So happy for you!!! We thought he was gone forever! Enjoy!

    After a Journey of much more than 1000 steps, I delivered Gutsy safe and sound to CarMel so that she can take care of him until V_Kareeo's return.

    I was driving from Omaha (NE) to St. Louis (MO) today but I had to stop in Kansas City because Gutsy Smurf Travel Bug was here. Now that Gutsy is back in friendly hands, I will make sure that he gets home safely. He has had a great run and it was neat to see all of the places that he has gone!!
