I started in the Adirondacks as part of my owner's annual geocaching weekend. These crazy Connecticut based cachers traveled 200+ miles to geocache in Lake Placid and the Adirondacks. I haven't seen very much of the area because I was left in the backpack for 2 of the 3 days of the adventure. Take me around to see the country and beyond and show some pictures for my owner to admire and aspire to go geocaching there too.
Adriondack Bear started as part of a group of 4 travel bugs for our annual geocaching weekend. As stated above this travel bug is placed 200+ miles away from my usual geocaching base. The other 2 other travel bugs have been placed out there to explore too. Adriondack Bear enjoys long hikes, good food, and fun caches. Take the lil' bear in your travels and he is bound to make you smile a little too. Have him visit a cache or make a new cache his home. Whatever you choose please send some pictures too! Thanks for taking good care of the lil' bear and maybe he and I will meet up again on a future geocaching weekend with the group many more miles from our geocaching base. Happy caching and traveling!

Inuksuk Builder, Accomplice and the Gangsta Boys find this Bear just minutes prior to the May 4th meteor explosion. It was a loud sonic boom that startled us as we walked the Lang Heritage Trail today. Adirondack Bear is now in the hands of Inuksuk Builder.

We'll try again to add that picture! Has the process of doing so been changed or am I just more confused than ever - it must be this continuing cold weather! Ah, success! There is a caption to be seen if one chooses "Visit Log."
