This is my first cache with a Travel Bug. Container is an ammo box that contains various trinkets along with the travel bug. There is also a “Beanie baby” squirrel in a plastic bag for the FTF to keep. Now, about that travel bug …
This travel bug is intended to visit some spots that a friend of mine and I used to frequent in his “hippie van” back in the early ‘70’s. It is attached to a Peace Sign medallion that I would like to stay with it. So the itinerary is as follows …
1.) I would like for it to visit Ocean City, MD. Once there, Magic John has agreed to move it to a
point farther north for me.
2.) I would like for it to make it’s way to Hopkinton, MA. The Hopkinton Town Square is where
the Boston Marathon starts. My buddy and I spent a lot of time there water skiing on a lake
near my cousins’ house.
3.) Lastly, I would like for it to wind up in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. We camped there
for a week in the summer of 1972.
After that, it can travel wherever geo-cachers choose to take it and hopefully it will make its’ way back to Maryland..
This one has great sentimental value to me so let’s see if “we” can make it happen!

better. We camped there for a week in the summer of 1972.
