Current Goal

We started Geocaching on October 1st, 2011. For my son's birthday we decided to get him a travel bug. We are hoping this will be a long term family event we can do together. I'm so glad we've found this community. It has added an element of excitement and unity to our little family.

As we watch this travel bug we would love to see it go to other states in the US or even internationally. We have no specific goals. I hope to use this travel bug experience to teach the importance of playing by the rules and even some basic geography.

My son is a first grader with a curiosity beyond his years. We also have a 4 year old and 1 year old. We have enjoyed being together as a family as we've searched for local caches. Hopefully the trackables will be something we can do indoors when the weather won’t allow us get out there.

Please welcome us to this unique community of outdoor enthusiasts and help our first travel bug see the states and even the world.
