This county has three separate National Park entities including King's Mountain National Military Park, Cowpens National Battlefield, and sections of the Over Mountain Victory Trail. There is a lot of history in South Carolina related to the Revolutionary War.

This weekend is the Anniversary of the Battle of King's Mountain. The parking lot was filled with buses bringing school children to learn the history of this pivotal battle of the Revolutionary War.

I grabbed this travel bug and will move it soon to another cache location. I can't help too much with its wish to travel to European countries but I can help it make historical connections.
